Hi everyone!

The 2007 racing season is fast approaching and my team and I have been pretty busy getting the new 2007 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R's ready for the racetrack! It's always more challenging to build a racebike from scratch when it's a new model year, but with the help of so many sponsors-- both existing and new--- it's made life a lot easier along the way. I thought now might be a good time to reflect for a moment on some of these great sponsors for 2007!

Kahuna Kawasaki-  is my primary sponsor and they are AMAZING! Joe and the guys at Kahuna are always so busy everytime I see them...they're busy churning out bikes to customers and the shop is growing everyday! They've been a tremendous support to me thus far and I cannot say enough about their level of service! If you live in the greater Toronto area or in Woodbridge, Ontario go and visit Kahuna Kawasaki for your Kawasaki sales and service needs- you will not be disappointed!

Canadian Kawasaki Motors- Supported the number one winning Supersport and Superbike on the Parts Canada Pro circuit in 2006 with pilot Jordon Szoke-- what more is there to say...these bikes are the choice of champions! I've spent a lot of time dealing with the folks at Canadian Kawasaki Motors and it is so refreshing to work with a group of individuals who enjoy motorcycling and are so passionate about the sport. The 2007 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R is FAST right out of the box and I cannot wait to test this bike on the racetrack soon!

Bell Motorcycle Helmets- It seems everyone I talk to wore a Bell helmet as a kid!  Bell has been around for decades and they are indeed PROVEN both on the street and in the dirt! They're coming out with some really cool new designs and models all the time and I look forward to representing them again in 2007.

Performance Under Gear- Todd Ruston is the man behind PUG and he is GREAT! We have enjoyed a wonderful relationship over the past year and I admire this man for his vision and business sense. Performance Under Gear is THE ONLY high performance base layer to be wearing-- it wicks moisture, is made of top quality material that will not be compromised, and the Coolmax/Fresh FX ensures that feeling of clean and fresh all day long. It keeps you warm in the cold and cool in the warm. Kevin Schwantz wears PUG- so should you!

Compulsion Racing- This is my primary mechanic Brad Clarke's trackside race service. Without Brad I would be lost. He does nearly all of the mechanical servicing on my racebikes and he is currently very busy drilling holes, safety wiring, ordering parts, mounting bodywork, and all of the other things that come with preparing a racebike. He was by my side throughout my entire 2006 Championship season and he will once again join me in 2007. I highly recommend this guy for any trackside mechanical race services!

Accelerated Technologies- John Sharrard is the man behind Accelerated Technologies. He is an engine and suspension GENIUS! John is always available to provide helpful hints and advice and he has done so much to educate me over the last 1.5 years about do's and don'ts of suspension 101. If you are even considering getting suspension work done to your street or racebike, John is the guy to see!

Armour Bodies- Rated Number One in fit and in finish and it shows! I have heard rave reviews from both the bodyshop and my mechanic Brad Clarke about how well Armour Bodies' Signature Series bodywork fits my new Kawasaki ZX-6R and how nice it is to paint and finish. There is a reason Armour Bodies are number one...and they are a Canadian company-- do not settle for anything less!

Komodo Gear- Defiantly Different!  Komodo have been so amazing to deal with! They are a relatively small company quickly making inroads into the roadracing market. With a number of AMA riders already sporting Komodo I knew I could not go wrong!  Both Wayne and Lee and their staff have been great and I cannot wait to see my new custom Komodo suit. The fit and finish on these suits is second to none and I am glad to know I will be well protected for 2007!

Vortex Racing- have been manufacturing racing components for the last 10 years! The company is owned and operated by motorcycle racers and they understand the needs of fellow racers. I used Vortex rearsets and sprockets in 2006 and they worked great! I am extremely fortunate that Vortex has offered to support me in 2007 and I look forward to testing the new rearsets, sprockets and other racing components on the new Kawsasaki ZX-6R!

Hindle- although not an official sponsor, I have to give kudos to the folks at Hindle who have been working very hard to develop a race pipe for my 2007 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R!  Hindle is a family owned and operated Canadian company and its amazing to see the work they turn out all over the world!

Kevin Schwantz- also not an official sponsor, but my racing would not be the same without a word about Kevin Schwantz and his team at Road Atlanta. While I am fairly certain we will never see Kevin on a green motorcycle, the advice and encouragement he and his instructors at the Kevin Schwantz School have given me over the years has been second to none. I recently returned from 2 days at Road Atlanta with Kevin and his team and once again I learned so much! Kevin himself is always available at the schools and often provides me advice throughout the season as well. And for those who have been to Road Atlanta..the new pavement is AWESOME!

...and last but certainly not least I have to thank the my crew who includes Dave Shirley, Brad Clarke and Kathy Ferguson. Racing is a team sport and I rely heavily on my team. They have all done so much to encourage and support me throughout my racing career and 2007 proves to be no exception!

See you all at the races real soon!
