OTTAWA, Ontario (June 8, 2009)- Motul USA confirmed today that they would sponsor Kahuna Kawasaki racer and Parts Canada Superbike series competitor, Vicki Schouten for the remainder of the 2009 season. “The Motul 300V line of engine oil is the only oil that I will run in my Kawasaki ZX-6R racebikes,” said Schouten, “I know for a fact I can trust Motul to protect my engine and leave it running strong, even under the most rigorous conditions and high RPM’s. Support from Motul means so much to me, as I use a lot of their product and cannot imagine my pits without it.”
In addition, Pit Bull USA has also announced their intentions to sponsor Schouten for the remainder of the 2009 season. Schouten will use Pit Bull’s state of the art front and rear stands to support her ZX-6R racebikes in the pits, as well as the Pit Bull trailer restraint systems to transport her motorcycles to the racetrack. According to Schouten, “Having a solid, stable motorcycle stand is really important, particularly when we are doing maintenance and the motorcycle needs to be stable.” Schouten further notes, “For years I have tried all kinds of tie-down and trailer restraint mechanisms to transport my racebikes, but the new Pit Bull trailer restraint system is really the only way to go. It is simple to use, you don’t require any straps and the axle restraining system holds the motorcycle steady at all times, without having to put any pressure on the front end. Simply put, Pit Bull is going to make our lives so much easier both on the way to the racetrack and once we get there.”
Also contributing to Schouten’s racing program will be Galfer USA, who recently announced that they will supply Schouten with the top notch stopping power she needs with brake pads and lines for the remainder of the 2009 season. “When you are competing against the strongest Amateur riders in the country,” says Schouten, “you need all the help and confidence you can get when it comes to braking power. Galfer’s brake pads, rotors and lines are strong, yet progressive when applied, allowing me to dive deeper into those corners with confidence, which is exactly the extra edge I need to step up my game!”
